【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversthegeneralrequirementsforprotectivezinccoatings(hereinafterreferredtoasthecoatings)tobeappliedbythethermo-diffusioncoating(TDC)method,tovariousproductsmadeofcarbonsteel,includinglowandhightensilepartsaswellasofwroughtiron,sinteredironsteel-powderandvarioussteelandstainlessalloys.TDCiscarriedoutbyimmersingthepartsinazincalloypowderatelevatedtemperatureforaperiodoftime,causingametallurgicaldiffusionprocessofzincandiron.Furtherprocessingmaybeadded,suchas,passivation,topcoatapplication,paintapplication,etc.1.2Thisspecificationisapplicabletoordersineitherinch-poundunits(asA1059)orinSIunits(asA1059M).Inch-poundunitsandSIunitsarenotnecessarilyexactequivalents.Withinthetextofthisspecificationandwhereappropriate,SIunitsareshowninbrackets.Eachsystemshallbeusedindependentlyoftheotherwithoutcombiningvaluesinanyway.InthecaseofordersinSIunits,alltestingandinspectionshallbedoneusingthemetricequivalentofthetestorinspectionmethodasappropriate.Inthecaseofordersininch-poundunits,suchshallbestatedtotheapplicatorwhentheorderisplaced.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
