【摘要】:Duringanoil-spillresponse,trajectorymodelsareusedtopredictthefuturemovementandfateofoil(forecastmode).Thisinformationisusedforplanningpurposestopositionequipmentandresponsepersonnelinordertooptimizeaspillresponse.Oil-spilltrajectorymodelscanbeusedinastatisticalmanner(stochasticmode)toidentifytheareasthatmaybeimpactedbyoilspills.Inthosecaseswherethedegreeofriskatvariouslocationsfromanunknownsourceisneeded,trajectorymodelscanbeusedinaninversemodetoidentifypossiblesourcesofthepollution(receptormode).Oil-spilltrajectorymodelsareusedinthedevelopmentofscenariosfortrainingandexercises.Theuseofmodelsallowsthescenariodesignertodevelopincidentsandsituationsinarealisticmanner.1.1Thispracticedescribesthefeaturesandprocessesthatshouldbeincludedinanoil-spilltrajectoryandfatemodel.1.2Thispracticeappliesonlytooil-spillmodelsanddoesnotconsiderthebroaderneedformodelsinotherfields.Thispracticeconsidersonlycomputer-basedmodels,andnotphysicalmodelingofoil-spillprocesses.1.3Thispracticeisapplicabletoalltypesofoilinoceans,lakes,andriversunderavarietyofenvironmentalandgeographicalconditions.1.4Thispracticedoesnotaddressissuesofcomputeroperation.Itisassumedthattheuserofthispracticeisfamiliarwiththeuseofacomputeranditsoperatingsystems.
