【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiestheessentialsafetyrequirementsapplicabletothedesignandconstructionofagglomeratorsusedtodensifyplasticscrap,reducingitssizeand/orvolume.Thelimitsoftheagglomeratorareasfollows:?theouteredgeofthefeedopening,orouteredgeofthefixedfeeddevice(e.g.hopper)ortheinterfacebetweenthefeedsystem(e.g.conveyor)andtheagglomeratorchamberand?theouteredgeofthedischargeopeningoftheagglomeratorchamberortheinterfacebetweentheagglomeratorchamberandthedischargesystem.OnlythesignificanthazardslistedinClause4anddealtwithinClause5aresubjecttothisEuropeanStandard.ThisEuropeanStandarddoesnotdealwithhazardscausedbyprocessingmaterials(suchasExpandedPolystyrene(EPS)andPolyurethane(PU)foam)which,whenheated,mayleadtoariskoffireandreleaseoftoxicgases.ThisEuropeanStandarddoesnotdealwithhazardscausedbyupstreamand/ordownstreamequipment.ThisEuropeanStandardisnotapplicabletoagglomeratorsmanufacturedbeforethedateofitsapprovalasEN.
