【摘要】:ThisStandardprovidesfortwogeneralapplicationsofAcmethreads:namely,generalpurposeandcentralizing.ThelimitsandtolerancesinthisStandardrelatetosingle-startAcmethreadsandmaybeused,ifconsideredsuitable,formultiple-startAcmethreads.Thelatterthreadsareusedtoproviderelativelyfasttraversingmotionwhennecessary.Thethreeclasses(2G,3G,and4G)ofgeneralpurposethreadshaveclearancesonalldiametersforfreemovement.Thisthreadreliesonthethreadflankstomaintainconcentricoperation.Thethreeclassesofcentralizingthreadshavealimitedclearanceatthemajordiametersoftheexternalandinternalthreadssothatabearingatthemajordiametermaintainsapproximatealignmentofthethreadaxisandpreventswedgingontheflanksofthethreads.
